Sisters and Brothers,
As a reminder this Sunday we will be having our Annual Parish Meeting and Potluck. It is an important Sunday to be in church because it is when we gather together as a family to consider all that we have experienced in 2018 and consider what we might want to accomplish in 2019. All members are permitted to cast their vote for our new Vestry members.
One great piece of news is that the Vestry has approved the parish to serve as the Charter organization for a Scout Troop. This is in addition to our Scout Pack. You can see more about this great news below.
Last week I shared with the Vestry and others two impromptu conversations I had on the same day. Both of these highlighted the gratitude of folks for our outreach efforts among our Latino sisters and brothers. One was from one of our long-time members and the other was from one of our Latino sisters. These kinds of conversations are important. It reveals how this decision impacts us as a family in positive ways and how much our efforts mean to folks.
Lastly, I want to offer my own "Thank You" to our outgoing Vestry members. You've been through a lot this year and had to make some tough decisions. It hasn't always been easy. Thank you for your dedication and service.

Hermanas y Hermanos,
Como recordatorio, este domingo tendremos nuestra Reunión Parroquial Anual y Potluck. Es un domingo importante estar en la iglesia porque es cuando nos reunimos en familia para considerar todo lo que hemos experimentado en 2018 y lo que podríamos querer lograr en 2019. Todos los miembros pueden emitir su voto para nuestro nuevo Miembros de la junta parroquial.
Una gran noticia es que la junta parroquial ha aprobado a la parroquia para que sirva como organización de la Carta para una Tropa Scout. Esto es además de nuestro paquete Scout. Puedes ver más sobre esta gran noticia a continuación.
La semana pasada compartí con la junta parroquial y otras dos conversaciones improvisadas que tuve el mismo día. Ambos destacaron la gratitud de la gente por nuestros esfuerzos de divulgación entre nuestras hermanas y hermanos latinos. Uno era de uno de nuestros miembros más antiguos y el otro de una de nuestras hermanas latinas. Este tipo de conversaciones son importantes. Revela cómo esta decisión nos afecta a nosotros como familia de manera positiva y cuánto significan nuestros esfuerzos para la gente.
Por último, quiero ofrecer mi propio "Gracias" a nuestros miembros salientes de la junta parroquial. Usted ha pasado por mucho este año y tuvo que tomar algunas decisiones difíciles. No ha sido fácil. Gracias por su dedicación y servicio
