Ecumenical Anglican Church

A member of the Communion of Ecumenical Churches

We are Anglican because we affirm Holy Scripture to be the expression of God’s unconditional love for us.

We believe in a Tradition that is life-affirming.

We use God-given Reason and allow people to reach their own conclusions by living and testing Scripture and Tradition so that may be further empowered to fully comprehend God’s role in their lives.

The Ecumenical Anglican Church is life giving, affirming, and inclusive, believing that God’s grace is given without partiality to all those who seek it. Therefore, all persons, without regard to race, ethnicity, nationality, social or economic status, gender, age, sexual orientation, or physical ability are welcome to receive all the sacraments of the church.

The Ecumenical Anglican Church recognizes that we are called to diverse ministries in the building up of the Body of Christ. It acknowledges and encourages the development of Parishes as a means of supporting the Body of believers; promoting the priesthood of all believers through lay ministry; and providing a community in which all may receive the sacraments and love of God.

As a founding member of the Communion of Ecumenical Churches, the Ecumenical Anglican Church supports the joining together of denominations which share the ancient traditions of the church, practice inclusivity, and offer all people the opportunity to be a part of a supportive community. The Communion shares a threefold common purpose:

  1. Worship.  The primary purpose of this communion is to worship God and to be a part of God’s Dominion, open to all people by faith without regard to race, color, sex, gender, sexual orientation or preference, nationality, or socioeconomic status.

  2. Witness.  This communion shall prophetically and pastorally witness about God’s all-inclusive Love to the world – to the Church Universal, to society as a whole, to secular and governmental organizations, and to individual persons.

  3. Community.  This communion shall provide a means for its member denominations to share the Christian life of faith, worship, prophecy and service with one another.
